I am fully qualified and insured to work on a variety of sporting disciplines and injuries.
I qualified as a remedial and deep tissue massage therapist in 2010 at the University of Roehampton , London and since then I continued to develop my knowledge and understanding of common injuries and misalignment’s of the body. As my passion and belief in the healing potentials of massage grew, I actively sought to increase my expertise by gaining certified qualifications as a sports massage therapist level 4 & Pilates instructor. I have a great passion for helping to ease pain and discomfort within the body and fully appreciate how daily tasks can be affected when an injury has occurred. Taking a Holistic approach to treatment is my main focus, with the help of medical intervention where needed. I’m a great believer in movement helping the body heal and am keen to ensure any injury gets the correct attention needed.
By nature I am drawn to helping and supporting others and I found this tendency manifesting itself through my interests in the human body & exercise.
I have worked with many sports professionals over the years. I provided massage within Morzine ski resort in France for a season. I have worked for sports events such as the trans-provence cycle tour in France, Thrapston Town Football Club, local triathletes and supported MMA professional Martin Sheridan. I have also worked in spa environments focusing on deep tissue massage in London and Edinburgh, building up my knowledge of lots of common and unusual injuries and the background behind them.
I am an advocate of listening to your body and that it performs most efficiently if we find and allow balance within the bodies current abilities. Once an injury is healed, the progress of improving can begin again. We have to put in efforts if we want results and sometimes we need a little extra help to fix the body. This is where my services can support you!
