A common question I am asked is if Pilates would help them with their pain, as their Dr or friend have recommended it to them. So I felt I wanted to learn the method to help improve clients’ posture and alignment problems, little did I know I would learn more than ever how much movement would be a new way of working. 

My personal journey of Pilates is still a long road, although I have learnt so much I will always be learning about the method, I have learnt so much about my own weaknesses and strengths in alignment, allowing me to understand others body types and posture.

Chloe’s classes are all inclusive and can be adaptable for all ability levels.  If you would like to give Pilates a try but you’re not sure if classes would be suitable for you 1:1 are available or if you would like to come to class with your partner, friend or family member 2:1 classes are available along with bespoke small group sessions, please feel free to contact Chloe on the contact me form.

Before partaking in any exercise classes without an instructor around at home please ensure that there is someone available to help you in case of any accidents or emergencies, please ensure you have water and enough space to do your workout without hitting anything.

If you have any health issues or injuries that would cause a problem with partaking in exercise such as dizziness or joint problems, please contact Chloe to discuss booking a one 2 one Pilates personal training session, ensuring no further injury. If you do have any health issues, it is always recommended to have a signed confirmation from your Dr to confirm you are fit and well to partake in exercise.

There are a variety of class price packages that allowing the cost to come down depending on the package you want to purchase. Please see the Gymcatch class timetable tab to login to the system.

GROUP CLASSES

Chloe’s Pilates group classes are friendly and relaxed, focusing on connecting with the body, helping to improve muscles that can become weak. All classes as focused on improving posture and alignment of the body.  Chloe has practised yoga and Pilates since she was 19 years old.  

The aim of class is to work with challenge but with ease of understanding the individuals limitations of themselves and focus on what your body needs that day.  Taking time to allocate an hour and give back to the body within class time allowing you to function better, improves mobility of muscles, strengthening joints, increase balance, coordination and connection to the muscles and core.

How do I book?

Is it safe to exercise after having a baby?

Yes very safe if your trainer is postnatal trained

Can I do Pilates without any previous experience?

Yes but a 121 is recommended if joining a large group class and especially if you have any previous history of injuries or problem areas that need close attention.

How many weeks after birth can I attend class?

You can start very gentle core work such as deep breathing and PF engagement but this must be confirmed by your health visitor, if any concerns please contact Louise at the paddock clinic for a full mummy MOT

Pregnancy Pilates

6 week block of 45 mins group classes.

This 6 week block of 45 min group classes has been specifically designed by Chloe Physio approved exercise programme

To book onto this course of 6 classes please see the class timetable and book online via the gymcatch app. 

The programme includes:

  • 2 weeks core connection and breathing focusing
  • 2 weeks Shoulder and balance
  • 2 weeks glutes & pelvic floor

To practice exercise after having a baby, it’s advised that you see a medical professional before a pelvic floor health check. If you have any problems with pelvic floor or core and are unsure of the steps to take, please contact Chloe or Louise, to be advised.

Beginner Pilates Course

6 week block of 45 mins group classes.

This 6 week block of 45 min group classes- building and progressing the body and your awareness of the connections to muscles that may have become weak and switched off due to lack of use.

We will progress you onto being able to join on any of the other classes available on the timetable

  • Breathwork practise
  • homework to practise at home
  • understanding on your body
  • Awareness of how we can improve pain and discomfort

Ballet with Emma

6 week block of 45 mins group classes.

This 6 week block of 45 min group classes- building and progressing the body and your awareness of the ballet repertoire,

There are many benefits of taking up a ballet class: long lean muscles, better posture, poise and confidence, deep core activation, better flexibility in the body. Ballet can improve mental and emotional health and dissolves stress, instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment which can boost self-esteem.

Class will be taught by Emma from www.emmajayneschoolofdance.co.uk, Emma has 20 years experience in ballet and teaches adults and children throughout her week. This class is for adults only and all levels welcome from total beginners to previous experience.

The programme includes:

  • Introducing and technique perfection of the ballet repertoire
  • Progressing strength each week adding repetitions to movements
  • Class aims to help improve posture and poise
  • Improves flexibility of the body.

Course is suitable for all levels and great for anyone who would like to progress their core but cant get up and down off the floor and would prefer exercise in a standing position.
